Due to a repeated violation of code of conduct rules, Baka Prase is suspended from playing official League matches for the duration of 2 matches and is being issued a formal warning.

We’ll step out of our official character for a bit to provide you with additional context. EBL supports banter and trash talk on many levels. We believe that is the key part of our industry and broadcast, much like traditional sports. It creates rivalries and provides players with an emotional outlet.

But, as all things, banter and trash talk must stay within the limits of acceptable behavior and must not promote hatred or harassment.

EBL is a competition, and competitors will always be emotional after a victory or a defeat. Some players don’t like each other, and sometimes things will get out of hand. That’s the reality.

But at the same time, each individual is responsible for their behavior and must make sure that “trash talk” doesn’t escalate to hatred, harassment, threats or straight up insults.
