Cybermasters CSGO

English broadcast production for the first CS:GO tournament hosted by blockchain streaming platform Play2Live.

We were in charge of the English broadcast production for the first CS:GO tournament hosted by blockchain streaming platform Play2Live.

The tournament was played live in Falcon Club in Minsk, Belarus on February 24-25 with 8 teams facing off for $100,000 prizepool.

The most intriguing aspect of the tournament is that the prizes were not paid in cash but through Play2Live’s own cryptocurrency, called Level Up Coin (LUC), which can be used to place bets on the livestreaming platform or to be converted to fiat currencies or a variety of other cryptocurrencies.

The team list for the event, which was streamed live on p2l.tv, looked as follows: Valiance, Space Soldiers, AGO, Sprout, BIG, Godsent, Goodjob and Windigo.
